Introducing Christian Deakin, BevZero's Product Development Manager, who will be conducting a much-awaited Masterclass at the 2024 International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show (IBWSS). Christian's background in the wine business and proficiency in enology and microbiology make him an outstanding speaker at our event.

Growing up in a vineyard in western New York, Christian had an early fascination with wine. His academic path brought him to Cornell University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with an Enology minor in 2015. In an attempt to broaden his knowledge of winemaking, he traveled to California and worked for eight years at the E&J Gallo Winery. Christian worked as a research enologist and then as a production microbiologist during his time there, acquiring essential knowledge in both the technical and scientific facets of winemaking.

Christian began working for BevZero, a cutting-edge business that specializes in the creation of dealcoholization technology, in late 2023. In his role as the Product Development Manager, he has made significant contributions to the industry's advancement of the craft of tasty de-alcoholized wines by pushing the envelope and discovering new frontiers.
