International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show, San Francisco 2020 Postponed

International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show, San Francisco has been postponed to October 28-29, due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

In the interest of addressing the health and safety concerns of our stakeholders the Executive Committee of Beverage Trade Network, Organizer of International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show in San Francisco has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show to October 28-29, 2020.

Over the last few days, it became clear that keeping our community safe and healthy went beyond any additional hygiene measures we could put in place. Additionally, in the wake of the announced European travel ban and the understanding from many of our members and exhibitors that domestic travel has already been limited, the decision to cancel the event was the right one.

Beverage Trade Network, the organizer of IBWSS shows said the safety of our speakers, exhibitors, visitors, partners, and our staff was the top priority and it was best we postponed the event to October as we were still not sure if the situation would get better in few months.

“Whilst following government advice, city of San Francisco advise and what’s happening in the USA, we spent the last couple of weeks speaking with partners to assess the impact the outbreak would have on our event and what measures we could put in place in order to mitigate risks and deliver a safe, successful event for all,” Sid Patel, CEO of Beverage Trade Network said.
