Savio srl was founded in 1958 and is located in Chatillon, in Aosta Valley, in the North-Western area of Italy, right on the border with France and Switzerland. Starting as a coffee brewer, Paolino Savio then decided to introduce the sugar and even the trade of spirits, both nationally and internationally, developing a wide range of clients who, at times, even became suppliers. About 25 years ago, Paolino was flanked by his son Marco, who is now the Managing Director. Thanks to his creativity, he contributed developing new products and brands, from Génépy, Grappas, Absynth, Vodkas to Rums. Amongst rums, the two brands owned by Savio called Malteco and Malecon are obtaining a very positive outcome, in fact they are obtaining several awards worldwide. Moreover, Savio can dispose of bulk spirits in order for companies to create their own brand, mainly from Panama and Caribe.In addition, rums can also be sourced from other regions upon request.
