Bulk wine doesn’t have to be bought off a list - it can be made and finished to a customer’s unique requirements. Portside Wines offers an enhanced, custom crush bulk wine service for wine buyers - a “one stop shop” solution for the bulk wine business. Clients can specify their volume, varietal and wine style requirements to Portside Wines, who will then source fruit from a wide range of long-standing, quality-focused grape growers throughout the Marlborough, Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne wine regions in New Zealand. The fruit is then turned into wine at Portside Wines’ sister winery, The Hawke’s Bay Wine Company, a 9 million litre/2.5 million gallon capacity winery, certified with BRC Global Standards AA rating. Portside Wines can produce bottle-ready wine in less than two months from harvest, using Cross-Flow filtration, STARS dialysis, Reverse Osmosis and lees recovery, with full temperature control and traceability using VinWizard and Vinsight software. The production, finishing and onwards dispatch of custom-made bulk wine from New Zealand's primary wine-growing regions is Portside Wine’s priority.
