Wine
The origin of our cellar dates back to its foundation in 1940 by Mamerto de la Vara Pérez, in the Andalousian town of Palma del Condado (Huelva), initially specialized in producing quality vermouths and fortified wines. After the initial growth in sales and markets, the cellar moved its premises to the better communicated port of Valencia in 1945, and incorporating to the staff the family’s second generation. In this period, the commercial expansión throughout Spain takes place with a wider offer of other fortified, sweet and dry wines, in accordance with the market’s demands, and always ensuring quality products. It is in the 1980’s when the cellar begins its specialization in fortified wines, customizing specific formulations for our customers. In the 1990’s the cellar moves to much more modern facilities at its present site in Cheste (Valencia), where all processes of production, stabilization, filtering and bottling take place. Nowadays, we continue to develop our commercial expansion, under the premises of a 75 year old family tradition but adapting to our customers’ s modern needs for fortified wine solutions and formulations.
