ICONOS DEL SUR is a high-end quality bulk winemaking Company with an OEM Project development. To achieve these wines 80% of grapes are originate from South Maule (VII Región) and the other 20% from Itata Valley (VII Región). These Wines are elaborated in the Area of Maule Sur in Cauquenes City and Linares City. IDS was born from a long work and friend relationship between Arnaud Escourrou (Author of La Regalona Icon Signature Wine) and Juan Carlos Sotomayor (Owner of Portal del Sur, Chilean Wine Bulk Company), culminating in a Project that mixes the best grapes from the southern area of Chile, where they have worked together for years. IDS main goal is to offer wines with strong personality and character, giving the opportunity for new wines, coming from forgotten terroirs, allowing us to continue exploring and developing new products that seduce different palates. In IDS, rather than to seek wine balance, we look preserving the freshness of the fruit with the fineness of the tannins associated to different kind of crianzas, according to the potential of each wine. The spirit of IDS is to present unique wines that correspond to the philosophy of the commercial parter, all under the modality “Free Choice”, that means each buyer can choose its exclusive blend; with special characteristics, flavors and colors. Wine can be exported as a bulk wine or also the customer has the possibility to choose to make the bottling process. For that, he will be able to choose bottles, corks, capsules and packaging appropriate, to his own taste. This allows him to develop his private brand and its label through a finished final product.
