Wine
We owe the name of it to the nickname that our great-great-grandfather Juan Martinez "Santonegro" had who came from Almeria in Spain to San Rafael at the beginning of 1900. He worked as a child in a coal mine in his hometown Olula de Castro and his Skin was "smudged" with coal throughout his life, so affectionately in Argentina, for his goodness and acquired skin color they nicknamed him that way.
Today we take that name to pay tribute to our ancestors who came as immigrants and transformed a desert in this oasis south of San Rafael in Mendoza.
