"Your wine your way!" The history of Cantina Cortecchia begins in the 1950s, when brothers Fulvio and Domenico Cortecchia set up in business as producers and traders of quality bulk wine. Today, the company is managed by the second generation of the Cortecchia family and pursues a policy that combines tradition and innovation. Cortecchia’s annual trading volume is around 45Million litres of wine distributed in Italy(60%) and in foreign markets(40%) where the demand for quality wine is constantly growing. The family vineyards covers an area of 60 hectares where the main grapevarieties are Trebbiano, Pinot Blanc, Albana, Muscat Sangiovese and Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. Over time Cortecchia set up contractual long term collaborations with grape- and winegrowers in Italy, Spain, France and Hungary. Thanks to the proper production and to the international contractual agreements Cortecchia can supply a wide range of products in bulk - including organic- from the best Italian and European wine regions as: -Generic wines, -Varietal wines, -IGP wines, -DOP wines,- sparkling wine base,- aromatic white wines.- fresh fruity white, -red and rosé wines, cask-aged full-bodied red wines, -dessert wines and -Italian organic wines. Today the management of the company has made large investments to renew the technology, the laboratory and quality control systems to meet the demands of the global market. To offer the highest possible guarantees of quality and compliance with safety regulations, Cortecchia is now in the process of obtaining Quality Control Management ISO 22000 certification and FFSC. The passion and love of Romagna wine region have motivated the family Cortecchia to invest in an agroturism and plan to launch their own bottled wine in the near future.
