Emily Haines is the Winemaker at Terra d'Oro Winery, where she leads winemaking across the winery's portfolio of estate-grown and premium California wines. Since joining Terra d'Oro in 2017, she has focused on crafting terroir-driven wines while working closely with the winery's vineyards to express the character of Amador County.

Before joining Terra d'Oro, Emily held winemaking leadership roles at Wahluke Wine Company and Milbrandt Vineyards in Washington State. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Biochemistry from Eastern Washington University, bringing a strong scientific approach to vineyard management and winemaking.

At the 2026 International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show (IBWSS) in San Francisco, Emily will share her insights on modern winemaking, wine production, and creating commercially successful wines that meet today's evolving market demands.
